ERN is a catalyst that challenges the rehabilitation professional to:

• Share resources and job leads with peers that will assist consumers in obtaining employment opportunities.
• Learn about the business community and become more aware of their needs.
• Develop and make information material available to the business community on topics that pertain to people with diverse backgrounds.
• Identify qualifies consumers for job openings and assist them in preparing to meet the needs of the employer.
• Be creative in job placement strategies and working with employers.
• Participate in the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) monthly business meetings.
